OEX stop by to give us a preview of their bumper 2016 offeringWhat better way to explore and adventure than on two wheels?

If you’re considering a trip with your bike this year but haven’t decided where you’d like to go, take a look at our top 10 for some inspiration!

After our debut year in 2015 and all the fantastic feedback provided by GO Outdoors customers, we’re back for 2016 with an even bigger range than before. Since last years launch we’ve been designing brand new kit in a bid to make OEX a one stop brand for wild campers and expedition participants. The new OEX range features upgraded tents, improved tents, brand new tents, cookware, sleeping bags, rucksacks clothing and more.

There’s so much in fact that we’re going to split this into parts, and in this part we’ll be taking a look at the new tents and camping gear.

Spring might be around the corner but the wet and wintry weather is still lingering on. So with sloppy trails and no end in sight, why not embrace the mud (and maybe even snow) and treat yourself to a fat bike?

Two Wheels Better took a first look at our Dune and a range of customer reviews from the Go Outdoors website to get an idea of whether the Dune is a budget blaster to be reckoned with.

Their verdict? We’re thrilled to see the team at Two Wheels Better were impressed with the look and that it “didn’t feel like a cheap bike” following a quick spin at Mountain Mayhem.

Why not take a look at their full review and even some of our customers’ thoughts here:

Mountain Biking UK magazine awarded the Calibre Bossnut five stars in a recent review of the Go Outdoors full-suspension trail bike, labelling it an “impressively efficient, controlled and flat out fun all-rounder.”

The spec and performance of the Bossnut impressed the team, and for less than £1, 000 Calibre’s full-sus ride can be enjoyed by the masses.

Six Nations of the outdoors – which country will win?

It’s Six Nations time again and while Rugby Union fans from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy are supporting their team to glory, we thought we’d pitch these six countries against each other in a very different type of competition.

In 2015 for the GO Outdoors Awards, we nominated a selection of fantastic independent outdoor blogs and asked the public to vote for their favourite. The following is a guest post from winner Stuart Hodgson and gives you an insight into what you can expect from his own blog. Stuart has combined his love for the outdoors with his love for photography, so we asked him to name his top 10 views that he’s captured on his walks.

In Part 2 of our get fit outdoors articles, we take a look at walking. Walking is probably the first activity that comes to mind when you think of fitness in the outdoors, but do you know exactly how this hobby can help your health? We go over some reasons that you should add more walking to your fitness calendar in 2016.
